I have to admit the last couple of days, I’ve been struggling to come up with great blog posts and I feel like I’m just starting. I want to blog about what I’m interested in, but I feel like there is only so much I can post about my business or Buskins before I start loosing readers.
To help me overcome this slump, I’ve created this jar with a lot of really great blog post ideas. Hopefully it will help me come up with some fresh ideas and that you’ll enjoy reading them too.

What website do you use to save your family photos? Do you use an online site like Photobucket, Flickr or Picasa? Do you dump everything into a cloud? Do you back things up on USB or external hard drives? People! How do you stay organized!?!?!?
I’ve been stressed out lately that my computer will crash one of these days and I won’t have any of my photos, other than the ones I post on social media sites.
Please let me know what you do.
Lately, I’ve been reading a lot about blogging. I want this little blog of mine to be a success and turn into something pretty cool. While reading How to Make Money with Your Blog (because who wouldn’t want to make a little extra income here and there), three tips it gives to avoid being a disastrous blog really hit home:
- Credibility Kills – From now on, I will fully disclose products that have been given to me for review. I’m pretty sure that I have done this in the past. Consider it from now on, full disclosure.
- Lack of content – I will do my best to post at least 200 word posts.
- Hot linked images – I didn’t realize the terribleness that exists using hot linked images. In case you don’t know what a hot linked image is, it’s the practice of adding an image into your blog post that is hosted by another Web site. Ek! I’ve totally done this. From now on, I will only post my own photos, even if they are totally random and I will hopefully have time to create more relevant photos for future blog posts.
What are your tips for blog etiquette? I’m still learning here and would love to hear your suggestions.
