I’ve got the baby bottle blues. Our little one, who is now 2.5 months, won’t take a bottle at all. She feeds o.k. breast-feeding, but bottles, soothers and nipple shields are a no go. Here’s a list of things we’ve tried so far:
- 12 different bottle nipples
- Advent nipple shields
- 5 or 6 different types of soothers
Nothing works. She won’t take anything.
I’m going to be totally honest, if I wanted to breast feed, this would be totally awesome, but I don’t want to anymore. I’m happy to pump a bit, but breast-feeding just really isn’t for me and I would like to stop.
Have you ever had a stubborn baby like this? How did you get her/him to take a bottle? Any advice or suggestions welcome.
I’ve found my blog again.
I’ve been away since September, but I’m hoping to find a little #momtime to write again. Since September, a lot has changed. We’re a +1 in our little family and have moved in to our new house. It’s been busy. I’m sure you know what it’s like to have a newborn and a toddler in the house.
Next week will be week 4 at home with my newborn and toddler. Things have been going well. We’ve been busy doing a lot of different things, especially crafts. I hope to share with you some of these wonderful creations that I’ve been doing with our 2.5 year old.
I’ve been adjusting to life with two. I feel more confident everyday having both of them at home. Finding tricks to make my life a little easier. Right now, my husband is watching my newborn, as my toddler is trying to fall asleep, so I can have 5 minutes to write.
I can’t guarantee that my posts will be perfect, with beautiful pictures, but I hope to continue writing to keep you engaged in my blog.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
